Hats Off For Cancer and Tara Lawrence will be recognized on the Montel Williams Show airing on November 24, 2006.

We are currently compiling short stories, drawings and poetry authored by childhood cancer patients for an upcoming publication. If you are a childhood cancer patient or survivor and interested in submitting your work, contact us right away!

During April 8 through April 22, a hat drive is being held in the Dallas, TX area. There are several events happening during this two week hat drive and several drop-off sites to donate the hats. There's even a web site where you can find your closest drop off area and keep up to date with the hat drive. Check out http://hatsoffforcancernorthtexas.com/index.htm for more information.

We are very excited to tell you about our newest national event, Mad Hatter Day. This event will offer participants a choice of holding either a hat drive in your community or a Mad Hatter Day Tea Party.
The Tea Party will ask guests to donate hats or money to attend the event. Our event will take place on October 5th and 6th. Schools have been invited to hold a Mad Hatter Day celebration and we will provide a list of different event ideas including a Silly Hat Conga Line, allowing their students to wear their special hats to school for the day for a $1.00 donation to Hats Off For Cancer.
